Combustion Media hits another home run with the Fort Worth Cats!

DALLAS, TX—March 2009—Combustion Media, Inc. (CMI) announced today that they have signed an agreement with The Fort Worth Cats to manage advertising opportunities at LaGrave Field in Fort Worth. CMI acting as an advertising partner will bring many new advertising opportunities to La Grave field as well as take on the responsibility of securing advertisers for specific pre-existing outdoor advertising areas.

The immortal words “play ball” will soon be heard in stadiums across America, and The Fort Worth Cats will take to the field for one of 48 home games. Advertisers will benefit from nine innings of exposure to consumers at an average of less than $1.20 CPM per game. Advertising opportunities will be available in many existing areas as well as numerous new locations throughout the stadium including concession areas, food courts, beer gardens and restrooms. CMI will secure the advertisers, manage print production and will be available for custom design and copywriting if requested.

The Fort Worth Cats received the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball’s 2008 Organization of the Year honors and were League Champions in 2005, 2006 & 2007. Last season, The Cats entertained a crowd of 12,457 spectators at a single game, which is the largest crowd in the seven-year history of the modern LaGrave Field.

LaGrave Field has been the home of the Fort Worth Cats during two different baseball eras, 1926-1964 and 2002 to the present day. LaGrave Field is the only ballpark in America with four dugouts. When excavation began, the original dugouts, which stood from 1926-1967, where unearthed, renovated, and are now used as Dugout Suites that can be rented on a nightly basis. Fans have the opportunity to watch baseball at the same historic place where former Cats such as Bobby Bragan, Duke Snider, Maury Wills, Sparky Anderson, Carl Erskine, Rogers Hornsby and other Hall of Famers like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Jackie Robinson, Ted Williams and Stan Musial played and ran the bases.
